ParkBuzz (“we,” “our,” or “us”) values your trust and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application, ParkBuzz, including when you make payments through integrated payment gateways. This policy applies to all users of the ParkBuzz parking management system.

 

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information You Provide

  • Registration Information: Name, email address, phone number

  • Vehicle Information: License plate numbers, vehicle make, model, and color

  • Profile Information: Profile picture, contact preferences

  • Payment Information: When you pay for parking, we collect payment details (e.g., UPI ID, wallet ID, cardholder name, last 4 digits of card). Full card numbers, CVV, or PIN are not stored by ParkBuzz. These are processed securely by our payment gateway partners.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Location Data: GPS coordinates when using parking services (with your consent)

  • Device Information: Device ID, operating system, app version

  • Usage Data: App features used, session duration, parking history

  • Camera Data: License plate images for OCR scanning (processed locally and not stored permanently)

2.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Payment Gateways & Processors: Transaction confirmations, payment status, refund/chargeback details

  • Authentication Services: Account verification data (e.g., OTP, email verification)

 

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide Core Services: Manage parking sessions, vehicle lookup, and user connections

  • Process Payments: Facilitate transactions, verify payments, issue refunds, and manage chargebacks through third-party payment gateways

  • Fraud Prevention: Detect unauthorized transactions and enforce payment security

  • Improve User Experience: Personalize app features and recommendations

  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries and payment-related disputes

  • Legal Compliance: Meet financial regulations, KYC requirements, and prevent fraud

  • Communications: Send service updates, parking reminders, payment receipts, and promotional offers (with your consent)

 

 

4. Privacy Controls

4.1 Profile Visibility Settings

You can choose who can see your profile and vehicle details:

  • Everyone – Anyone using ParkBuzz

  • Contacts Only – Only approved contacts (coming soon)

  • Nobody – Hide contact details; only plate number visible

4.2 Data Management

  • Access: View your personal data in app settings

  • Update: Edit profile and vehicle information anytime

  • Delete: Request account deletion via app settings or customer support

 

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

5.1 With Your Consent

  • Displaying limited contact details to other users (based on your settings)

  • Sharing session details with parking agencies

5.2 Service Providers

We share limited data with trusted third parties for:

  • Payment Processing: Secure transaction handling via RBI-authorized, PCI DSS–compliant gateways (UPI, cards, wallets, net banking). We never store your full card, CVV, or PIN.

  • Cloud Services & Analytics

  • Customer Support Tools

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to:

  • Comply with financial laws (RBI, IT Act, GDPR, CCPA)

  • Investigate fraud or disputed transactions

  • Enforce our Terms of Service

 

6. Payment Security

We follow industry-standard practices to secure transactions:

  • Encryption: End-to-end encryption of payment data

  • Tokenization: Sensitive card/UPI details are tokenized by payment processors

  • Fraud Monitoring: AI-driven fraud checks and anomaly detection

  • Refunds & Chargebacks: Payment and refund details are shared with processors but not stored permanently in ParkBuzz systems

 

 

7. Data Security

  • Encryption: All communication between your device and servers is encrypted

  • Access Controls: Limited internal access on a need-to-know basis

  • Audits: Regular security audits of app and payment flows

  • Secure Storage: Only non-sensitive metadata is stored in encrypted databases

 

 

8. Data Retention

  • Account Data: Until deletion request or 3 years after last use

  • Parking History: 2 years

  • Payment Metadata: Transaction ID, amount, status retained for 5 years (per RBI/KYC regulations)

  • Payment Credentials: Never stored by ParkBuzz (handled only by gateways)

 

 

9. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If discovered, such data will be deleted immediately.

 

10. International Data Transfers

Payment and app data may be processed in other countries. We ensure safeguards under GDPR, IT Act, and CCPA.

 

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy. Updates will be:

  • Posted in the app

  • Sent via app notification or email

  • Noted with a new “Last Updated” date

 

 

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request:
